Scrum & Wickets guarantees our products against manufacturing and materials defects for the lifetime of the product, and we will replace any defective item at no-cost under the conditions of the warranty.
A product’s “lifetime” specifically refers to the service life of the product, or at such a time that, through normal use, the product can no longer function for the specific purpose intended. This warranty applies when the product is used for the purpose intended and does not apply to normal wear and tear, modifications, alterations, or improper use and care. Any rips, tears, or holes that are caused by materials or manufacturing defects are covered under the warranty. Examples include stitching pulling out or through, weak spots in fabric or hardware failure within tolerances. However, rips, tears, or holes due to accident, improper care, negligence, or natural breakdown of materials over extended lengths of time and use are not covered.
We manufacture all our products to meet superior standards. However, regardless of how carefully it’s used, or how well you care for your Scrum & Wickets product, it will over time show reasonably “normal” wear and tear. In many sporting and competitive conditions, “normal” wear on materials and equipment is accelerated to the point that it is not unexpected, or unreasonable to expect, that it would need replacing anyway. Scrum & Wickets’ warranty covers manufacturer’s defects, but it cannot cover “normal” wear and tear.
The determination of whether a product satisfies the warranty requirements for a no-cost replacement will be at the sole discretion of Scrum & Wickets. For warranty evaluation, send us a photograph of your product clearly marking any defect(s) with a piece of masking tape. We will immediately evaluate your claim and send a free return shipping label to you. Once we’ve received notification that the defective item is inbound, your replacement will be released and expedited to you.
Items that have not been used within 30 days after the date of purchase, with the original packaging intact, can be returned as follows:
Custom orders already in production, or completed but not yet shipped, may be cancelled and a refund given except that any designer’s fees, mold fees, and materials costs (30% of the purchase price), will be deducted from the refund amount.
When orders are cancelled or go unclaimed after production they can be found in our shop… at a discount!
